SSI provide customers with versatile options that suit their business needs. Inspections can be arranged as a Single Attendance or as part of an ongoing agreement. SSI offer both Frame Agreements and Flat Rate Agreements to ensure that compliance is maintained without unexpected peak costs.
Single Attendance
For one-off inspections, fast, efficient.and reliable.
Single quotation, dedicated point of contact for scope duration, prior consultation, professional attendance, full report and close out protocols to ensure ongoing compliance and safety.
Applies to all lifeboats and davits, all makes and models. No ongoing commitment.
Frame Agreement
Known cost, elevated service, cost savings without commitment.
For many of our customers a known tariff of rates gives confidence to forecast expenditure and manage their own compliance effectively.
SSI allocates a dedicated focal point of contact for all customers that subscribe to a frame agreement service with a forecast annual requirement.
SSI monitor expiration dates and provide follow up services to close out any post attendance requirements. A framework agreement allows an ongoing non exclusive relationship and continuity of service from year to year.
Flat Rate Agreement
Payment plan. Dedicated Customer Account Coordinator.
With an SSI Flat rate agreement we are able to divide the known costs of compliance into lower and consistent monthly or quarterly payments.
By consulting with customers we shall identify the bespoke inclusive elements of contract and preferred duration. For any requirments beyond the known inclusive items we provide a competitive tariff of rates.
By allocating a dedicated Customer Account Coordinator, SSI is able to take much of the compliance burden from customers. A combination of dedicated personnel and industry leading software allows SSI to track expiry dates or escalating condition based concerns.
SSI becomes a working partner and meets with customers at a pre-set interval to ensure excellent communication.

Why Choose SSI?
Since the IMO MSC.402(96) mandate of 2020, you are no longer obliged to use Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) or their agents for your commercial fleet lifeboat inspections. As a result, regardless of the make and type, you can have your lifeboats, davits and accessories inspected, repaired and certified through Survival System International's 402 inspection.
