We are looking for an experienced individual to carry out this new and interesting role, based in Gt. Yarmouth.

You will ideally hold a CIPD qualification (Level 3 or 5) or be working towards it ,a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Human Resources role (either singularly or in total where there have been career breaks).

Excellent organisational and administrative skills combined with proficient IT skills.


  • To coach, support and build capability in line managers to manage the employment relationship effectively.
  • With the support of our Employment Law Insurance providers, guide managers on HR queries, as required.
  • To provide advice and support to line managers on all people related matters, including performance management, welfare and employee relations cases.
  • To support the development and maintenance of HR policies and processes.
  • To provide support in grievance and disciplinary hearings.


  • Ideally hold a CIPD qualification (Level 3 or 5) or be working towards it • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Human Resources role (either singularly or in total where there has been career breaks) with experience of managing employee relation cases.
  • Be self-motivated and have a positive attitude.
  • Have excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Confidence and ability to work in a stand-alone role where confidentiality is highly important.


  • Good working knowledge of employment law and practices.
  • Demonstrates integrity in all business interactions and honours personal commitments.
  • Strong employee relations experience, gained in environments with disciplinary, grievance, performance management and sickness
    absence management cases.
  • Excellent timekeeping and attendance to work and a willingness to undertake new tasks.
  • Valid UK Driving License as travel to our Montrose base in Scotland may be occasionally required.


  • To support and guide managers with end to end case management for all employee relation cases, whilst liaising with our Employment Law Insurance providers.
  • To ensure the business receives an efficient and high-quality HR administration service.
  • To liaise regularly with the HR Manager based in the USA.
  • To keep all the HR files up to date ensuring all employees have offer letters, contracts of employment and regular PDP’s with their line managers.
  • To manage the IT requirements for the efficient running of the business, ensuring all employees have the correct IT equipment to carry out their roles effectively, by working closely with our external IT provider.
