Survival Systems International is committed to undertaking our business in such a way as to eliminate the risks of injury or ill-health to our employees, our contractors and our customers. Additionally, we are dedicated to performing our manufacturing processes and service work tasks in such a way that we do not damage SSI’s, our customers’ or other 3rd-party’s equipment or property.
As part of our commitment to safety excellence, all Survival Systems International facilities are currently accredited to a quality and safety program, or working toward their accreditation, with relevant regional and industry specific agencies.
All SSI service technicians are knowledgeable, competent and trained in onshore and offshore safety procedures, and our teams follow our comprehensive safety guidelines. Survival Systems International routinely receives excellent health and safety results in client and independent 3rd party audits, and our service bases continue to achieve new goals for working days without a Loss Time Incident (LTI), heading towards SSI`s global objective of Zero LTI`s.
SSI have a dedicated team of professionally qualified health and safety staff to assist with operations and policy at the corporate level and locally at each of our world-wide service facilities.
Survival Systems International promotes environmental awareness among our employees and actively promotes efficient use of materials and resources globally. We strive to avoid the unnecessary use of hazardous materials and products, and ensure adequate resources are available to promote and undertake continuous improvement.
SSI has also adopted corporate policies to address and continuously improve our business operations in relation to: transportation, waste and recycling, our impact on climate change, employee occupational health, welfare and fitness, and to become an active and contributing partner in the communities we reside in.
Quality and Continuous Improvement
SSI is committed to providing a quality to service to all of its clients. As part of our ongoing commitment, all Survival Systems International facilities are currently accredited to a quality program (ISO 9001: 2008, or working toward their accreditation, with relevant regional and industry specific agencies.
Survival Systems International reviews and actively seeks to improve the effectiveness of its Operational or Information Management Systems. Trained SSI staff perform audits on its QHSE System and implement corrective and preventive actions as a result of identified non-conformities and/or accidents, incidents, near misses and hazardous occurrences. In Addition, Survival Systems International frequently inspect its manufacturing and operational areas for health and safety compliance.
SSI is “Your Partner in Safety”, we work closely with our clients and sub-contractors to ensure that our policies and systems are consistent with their policies.
